Starting on 1 February 2021, a new practice will be introduced in VR’s commuter traffic (i.e. on R, T, D, G, M and Z commuter trains) as regards travelling without a ticket that is valid throughout the journey or a document that verifies their right to a discount (such as a student card).

The key terms and conditions applied to travelling and tickets are available in the vicinity of the trains. A penalty fare can be charged from a person who is found to be travelling without a valid ticket. To read more about the terms and conditions, please visit:
